Pro Se Clinic dates and Information

The Court offers a Pro Se Clinic for people representing themselves who need assistance and advice. The Pro Se Clinic is also available for people who have a legal question for an attorney. The clinic is held in the evening, once a month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 207 West Hill Street, 2nd Floor, Gallup.

The purpose of the clinic is to give limited advice, information and assistance. It will not give complete legal help for your case. You will need to make an appointment with a lawyer for that kind of help.

The purpose of the clinic is to give limited advice, information and assistance. It will not give complete legal help for your case. You will need to make an appointment with a lawyer for that kind of help.

Rules and Information for Pro Se Parties

  1. Although we want to be responsive to your needs, the court staff cannot give you any legal advice.
  2. You should attend the court’s Pro Se Clinic. It is free and is held at 5:00 p.m. once a month. Court staff can give you the date, time and location of the next clinic.
  3. At the court clinic, there is assistance available for calculating child support, serving papers, transferring real estate and motor vehicles, and assuring you have all of the required forms. There is also an attorney available to give some limited advice on completing forms.
