Judge Sandra Armstrong Price is a New Mexico Native being raised on a ranch just outside of Quemado New Mexico. Sandra attended the University of New Mexico where she obtained her Undergraduate Degree in 1986 and her Law Degree in 1989.

Upon graduating from Law School Judge Price was interested in practicing law in a smaller community and she relocated to San Juan County. Price worked with Roberts and Jolley for almost two years and gained invaluable experience in the private practice of law which included criminal defense, domestic relations and various civil cases.

Judge Price began working as a prosecuting attorney with the District Attorney's Office for the Eleventh Judicial District in 1991. She worked for the District Attorney's Office for over fourteen years. During that time she handled over 60 jury trials including numerous murder cases and a death penalty trial. In 1997 Price was elected District Attorney. On November 2, 2004 Sandra Price was elected District Judge for the Eleventh Judicial District. She is the first woman elected in this District.
Judge Price is married to Michael Kilpatrick. Sandra has two children, a daughter 18 and a son 17. Judge Price is actively involved in 4-H, the County Fair, and enjoys attending sporting events.
