Re:  Temporary Parking at Aztec District Court Courthouse
For Immediate Release

The 11th Judicial District Courthouse in Aztec located at 103 South Oliver in Aztec, is undergoing an expansion and remodel.  As part of this process, beginning June 22 the public parking lot will be under reconstruction for approximately four to six weeks.

Persons visiting the courthouse should park in the San Juan County Administration parking lot, then follow the signed walkway across South Oliver to the courthouse.

Disabled persons are encouraged to call 334-6151 for assistance in getting from the temporary parking area to the courthouse.   A wheelchair will be made available by court employees to assist as needed.

We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience but are confident you will be proud of its results for our community.

The Juror and Employee parking lot are closed. The Public Parking lot is going to be way crowded. You can park in the County parking lot across Oliver St Just be careful crossing back over to the courts.

Huge Power outage. a trackhoe driver hit an unmarked main power line for District court. Power was out for a total of 5 hrs. The I.T. guy was able to get a small generator to run all the computer stuff so that Aztec Mag and both Farmington District Court locations could still operate. GO I.T. GUY.

After an extended break in construction due to gas and water line issues; construction has resumed.
1. Over the next two weeks construction will be louder next to the building again due to excavation work. Once that is done, they will start working on the concrete.
2. The next minor disruption will be the storm drain installation which will temporarily impact the Juror parking in the back.
